My very first blog. Welcome! As I sat here designing my page, I began to wonder if I really have that much to say where I felt the need to start my own blog. I guess I do. I have seen a growing trend of people/bloggers posting their goals, mine today will be about moving. My boyfriend and I are moving to another apartment, there's nothing special with the new place except increased rent with maybe one extra square foot and a window in the kitchen. Reason we're moving? Because our next door neighbor is like a chimney when it comes to smoking and the cigarette smell seeps through our walls. Having said that, we have exhausted all options like: sealing the outlets (where the draft from her room to ours came from), sealing the bottom part of the air conditioner vent and talking to her several times. I actually developed asthma from her chain smoking. Long story short, we don't want to cause any drama and decided to move to the opposite wing of our floor. We DID speak with the previous tenant, who lived there (our new apartment) for 8 years and he claimed he never smelled a hint of cigarette smell. We shall see! My boyfriend and I did our own study with the direction of where the wind blows, from east to west. Needless to say, we're moving to the east wing.
The thing irritates me the most about our next neighbor is, we actually live just one floor below the rooftop deck. Why can't she just go up a flight of stairs and smoke in the open air?!
